Providing Effective Feedback

Objective:

To provide workplace managers with a simple framework for effective, impactful employee feedback.

Audience:

Managers, with a focus on early-career managers

Learning Need:

Due to rapid scaling and expansion, a company created several new teams headed by managers with limited management experience. After one round of semi-annual performance reviews it became clear the managers were struggling to give effective feedback. This training was developed in response to that need, and was added to a suite of manager trainings available to all managers across the company.

Key Methodologies

Objective:

To provide a framework for new analysts to understand, and competently discuss, the basics of key methodologies used for project development at the company.

Audience:

Early career analysts (0-2 years of carbon project experience)

​

Learning Need:

Early career analysts were entering the company with broad technical knowledge, but needed to understand the specific methodologies the company worked with, in order to focus their work and increase their ability to competently discuss projects. This training introduced learners to 4 (of over 420 available) methodologies, simplifying highly complex methodology documents (averaging 75 pages each) into interactive learning sections that allowed new analysts "get up to speed" quickly and efficiently.​
